A network of specialized partners

To ensure its presence in the field and promote the adoption of its services, Cairn has gradually built up a network of around 20 specialized partners, mainly in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

BOLERO Project

With the support of the CNL, Cairn.info has built a structured database of book reviews, making it possible to link books with reviews available on Cairn.info, as well as on a range of partner platforms such as La Vie des idées, OpenEdition, Érudit, and others.

Of these, 12 are on the African continent: Morocco, Cameroon, Algeria, Côte d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, Tunisia, Burkina Faso, Benin, Madagascar, Ghana and Mali.

The breakdown of disciplines by continent is broadly stable from year to year. Economics and management dominate in Africa and Asia, and psychology in northern countries.

With the support of the Centre national du livre (CNL; National Book Center) and the Centre français d’exploitation du droit de copie (CFC; French Center for Copyright Exploitation), for several years now Cairn.info has also developed a selection of content tailored to English- and Spanish-speaking audiences. Learn more
