Of these, 12 are on the African continent: Morocco, Cameroon, Algeria, Côte d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, Tunisia, Burkina Faso, Benin, Madagascar, Ghana and Mali.

The breakdown of disciplines by continent is broadly stable from year to year. Economics and management dominate in Africa and Asia, and psychology in northern countries.
